Incentives and Loyalty Programs

OmniBTC provided a 0 service fee for users bridging via LayerZero and a 5% boost in loyalty points. This approach effectively doubled the value for swaps, recognizing the pivotal role of loyalty points in the DeFi space, particularly for token airdrop allocations. By enhancing daily swap values, OmniBTC appealed directly to active Nomis users, encouraging them to use the platform more frequently.

Results

The significance of the Points System in this context is substantial. In the DeFi ecosystem, loyalty programs are essential for user engagement and retention. By periodically boosting the Points System, OmniBTC and Nomis sustained user interest and participation, fostering a loyal and active community. Without any marketing costs, OmniBTC saw up to $0.5M in extra trading volume, with users claiming 20,000 additional Loyalty Points, demonstrating the campaign’s effectiveness.

ScoreFront’s benefits

The partnership’s success was amplified by integrating Nomis’ ScoreFront platform, which uses onchain data to assess user reputations and unlock exclusive offers. This allowed OmniBTC to target and reward active, reputable users more effectively. ScoreFront’s ability to identify and reward highly active and reputable users ensured that promotions and loyalty boosts were directed towards users with a proven track record of positive engagement within the web3 ecosystem.
