Yala

Yala Finance is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that connects Bitcoin liquidity with the broader DeFi ecosystem through its stablecoin $YU.

Users can deposit BTC or UTXO assets to borrow over-collateralized $YU tokens, which can be used across DeFi protocols to generate additional earnings.

Raised $8 million in a seed round, co-led by Polychain Capital and Ethereal Ventures, with participation from Galaxy Vision Hill, Amber Group, and HashKey Capital.

Yala has launched multiple testnet versions, including Testnet V3, where users can:

• Deposit BTC to mint $YU
• Stake and provide liquidity
• Earn Berries, which may be converted into $YALA tokens on mainnet
